SI KAO OVERVIEW
Located just one and a half hours south of Krabi lies the idyllic Thai district of Si Kao. There’s no shortage of bright white sands, sparkling turquoise waters and picture postcard paradise. Si Kao is less populated than the more popular tourist areas of Krabi and Phuket, so the feeling of peace and tranquillity really is just waiting to be discovered. Away from the simple pastime of sheer relaxation visitors can discover stunning scenery in Had Chai Mai National Park which boasts a 20 kilometre coastline and is home to native wildlife such as rare black-necked stork and wild pigs. There are also a number of sublime beaches dotted within the park such as Chang Lang Beach, Yong Ling Beach and Chao Mai Beach.
